PUBG Mobile’s 5th Anniversary is just around the corner and the developers are sure to bring a lot of fresh content to the game. We already reported about the new themed mode called Imagination Plaza, which is scheduled to arrive with the fifth anniversary patch. Now, PUBG Mobile has released a trailer about the version 2.5 update for their 5th anniversary, arriving on March 16.

World of Wonder
Firstly, players can expect an all-new gameplay system called World of Wonder (WoW) with the update. This gameplay mode will allow players to play games other than the popular battle royale mode. No details were confirmed, but the trailer showed glimpses of players racing on bikes, a parkour type map and a maze type map.
On March 18, players will receive the new themed gameplay mode, Imagiversary. Players will be provided with 3 new themed items with this gameplay mode: Block Cover, Portable Trampoline and the Dual Purpose Cannon.
The Block Cover comes in 3 shapes, and each can be used for cover, as well as climbing onto things. The trampoline will launch you in the air, as will the cannon, but the latter can also be used as a weapon against enemies to inflict higher damage.
Players will also receive a supply convertor, which they can use to mix and match their resources. The new large. themed area, Imagination Plaza, will appear in Erangel’s Stalber and The Quarry, where players will fight it out with others for the advanced resources found in the new POI.
Imagination District, the new small, themed area will also appear in Erangel and Livik. These themed area will have some of the best resources in the game, so players should definitely explore them once they arrive.
DP28 and M249 weapons have now received the new Gun Shield attachment, that helps block some of the enemy’s gun fire. New Supply Shops have been added to Miramar, Vikendi, Sanhok and Payload.
Payload is also getting an advanced warfare upgrade as tanks can now be found there. Metro Royale items and mechanics will also be receiving upgrades along with the Creation Mode.
Lastly, Nusa Tycoon is the new event that will be added with the update. Through this event, each player will receive their own Island, which they can upgrade with the help of coins. This will end up upgrading the Prosperity of the player’s island and as the Prosperity increases, the Island’s appearance will also change for the players in the lobby.
PUBG 6th Anniversary Patch 22.2
While PUBG Mobile is celebrating their 5th anniversary, PC title PUBG will be celebrating its 6th anniversary in 2023. For the hit game’s 6th anniversary celebrations, PUBG has released the patch notes for the upcoming update 22.2. This update will arrive for PC players on March 15 and for console players on March 23.
Firstly, maps such as Erangel, Miramar, Sanhok, Deston, Taego and Paramo will be serviced. A new French-made assault rifle, FAMAS will be added to the game. Weapon balancing changes will be applied to AUG, M416, M16A4 and Mk47 Mutant, Shotguns (S686, DBS, O12, S12K, S1897), P90 and Heavy Stock.
Loot Recommendation feature will be receiving an update. 6th Anniversary decorations such as billboards and more have been added to the world. Hills have been added to the valley between Barclift and Turrita. alongside a dirt racetrack in the south of Sancarna.
Erangel’s Hall of Fame has been updated to commemorate the winners of PGC 2022, Natus Vincere. Moreover, there are more changes to game modes, UI, lobby, workshop, -performance, along with a bunch of bug fixes. Check out the full patch notes for update 22.2 here.
