Now, this latest update spells the release for next-gen Xbox consoles and streaming on the Game Pass.
Bethesda’s words were as follows: “Face new supernatural threats in the Ghostwire: Tokyo Spider’s Thread Update, with haunting new areas, deeper combat, and a challenging new game mode.”

Ghostwire: Tokyo Spider’s Thread update coming April 12th
The update will include the Spider’s Thread game mode. This puts players through a gauntlet of 30 stages, pulled from a selection of 120 levels. The main and only objective: reach the end.
Progressing through the levels will allow the player to earn in-game currency to unlock more skills and new upgrades. According to IGN sources, the game will open up parts of Ghostwire: Tokyo’s map, such as the local Middle School area. With each new location, new missions will be there to discover.
Additional enemies are also being added to the game. These include the Silent Gaze and elusive Retribution.
