If you’re looking for how to early download Diablo 4’s open beta, look no further.
Diablo 4’s open beta weekends are launching very soon. The first of which is an Early Access weekend which can be accessed by pre-purchasing Diablo 4, running from March 17-19. The second is the full open beta which will go from March 24-26. You can find the exact start & end times here.
Blizzard had mentioned in their official Open Beta Guide for Diablo 4 that they would be enabling an early download for players who wish to preload and play immediately. This is how.
How to Early Download Diablo 4 Open Beta
There’s three distinct ways for each of the devices you can play the open beta on, be it PlayStation, Xbox or PC. Here’s a simple guide for each:
PC
- Launch the Battle.net client. If Diablo IV is not already in your Favorites bar, you can add it by clicking on the + icon. Alternatively, you can find Diablo IV by accessing the All Games page. You’ll see Diablo IV at the top of the list.
- Once you get to the Diablo IV Game Page, click the dropdown menu under Game Version and select the Diablo IV – Beta option. Click the blue button that says Install. The game will install and once it’s available, click Play to Launch.
Xbox
- Launch the Xbox Store and search for Diablo IV–Open Beta. Select Download.
PlayStation
- Launch the PlayStation Store and search for Diablo IV Open Beta. Select Download.
